Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor Intern who can turn raw footage into engaging and easy-to-consume content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram. If you enjoy storytelling through videos and want to work on real projects that reach thousands of viewers, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form videos such as tutorials, product demos, and educational content.
- Create short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos) from longer content.
- Add subtitles, transitions, graphics, and background music to enhance videos.
- Maintain consistency with the company’s video style and branding.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team to understand editing requirements.
- Ensure quick turnaround while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- Basic experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effect, CapCut or Final Cut Pro.
- Understanding of social media video formats and YouTube editing styles.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple edits and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or sample work showcasing your edits.
Good to Have
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects).
- Experience editing educational or tech-related content.
- Knowledge of YouTube retention editing techniques.
